According to ComicBook, Tatiana Maslany (Invincible: Atom Eve) star of Disney+ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has expressed wanting to take part in Daredevil: Born Again. The Emmy-winning actress stated that she can adapt her character of She-Hulk to fit the upcoming Disney+ series’ darker tone. During an interview with ScreenRant the actress addressed the possibility of joining Charlie Cox (The Theory of Everything) in the new series the same way his character Dare Devil appeared on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
“Would I be born again? I mean, absolutely, he was so great. He was so fun, like a really fun person to play with,” she shared. The actress particularly praised Cox’s ability to adapt Daredevil for her show’s lighter tone while maintaining the character’s integrity. “What he did so well was take a character that exists in a different tone and totally adapt him for this new tone, while still maintaining the integrity of the character, which is actually very funny, then. To see him collide with this sort of goofier world.”
As per ComicBook, ScreenRant suggested that the actress could bring a more serious approach to match the upcoming series’ edgier atmosphere. “I have a serious, well, I have a lot of serious bones in my body,” she noted.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters an attorney who specializes in cases with individuals with superhuman abilities. In the series, she must navigate not only being an attorney but also her newfound Hulk abilities she developed after being saved after a car crash by her cousin Bruce Banner also known as the Hulk.
Daredevil: Born Again follows a blind lawyer who has heightened abilities and fights for justice both in the courtroom and on the streets of New York. The series is a continuation of Netflix’s Daredevil series.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is available to stream on Disney+ with Daredevil: Born Again premiering on March 4th on the streamer.
