According to The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed in the finale that the Hollywood cameo was non other than Cate Blanchett (How to Train Your Dragon, Borderlands),whose job is similar to the Recruiter’s, played by Gong Yoo (Silenced, Train to Busan). This quick cameo symbolizes that the games weren’t just being held within Korea, but have now spread worldwide.

We later see the Front-Man, played by Lee Byung-hun (Red 2, The Match) meeting with Gi-hun’s daughter, Ga-yeong played by Jo Ah-in and giving her the gift of a credit card.
