* Spoilers Ahead* According to Deadline, in the newest episode of South Park, it is revealed that the character of Satan is pregnant with Donald Trump’s (The Apprentice, Miss Universe Pageant) baby. At the same time, South Park Elementary is enveloped in a new fascination with Labubus. The series continues to be known for pushing over-the-top concepts, as it stirs up the pot once again by introducing Labubus into the mix alongside a megalomaniacal Trump, a reluctant Satan, a Son of God on a mission, and some hard-hitting tariffs. Trey Parker (Team America: World Police, BASEketball) penned and directed “Wok Is Dead” which played as much to the childish impulses of its main characters as it did to Trump’s madness.
As per Deadline, in the episode, the character of Butters wanted to get his girlfriend Red also known as Kelly one of the increasingly rare furry dolls from China’s Popmart that have been on every kid’s demand list the past few months due tits popularity. Although he is in a bind as Red wants a rare Labubu that only comes in select blind boxes. “You gotta pay tariff. You think I pay tariff?” the super stereotyped former City Wok owner behind the counter tells Butters of the $85 price of the ugly-cute dolls. Later in the show the price goes up to $120 cause “tariff’s not fair.” “I get screwed by tariffs so I have to screw children,” the pop-up owner declares, in a remark on the minds of many a CEO right now as rising prices hit American consumers from all directions over Trump’s return to the economic policies of the 1920s.
According to Deadline, Meanwhile, Fox News is trying desperately to answer the question: “Is Donald Trump fucking Satan?” A gaggle of Fox reporters meets Trump and his rumored beau outside of Air Force One to find out. No! I’m not fucking Satan!” Trump screams. Satan backs him up, “We’re just sort of hanging out.” Fox News doesn’t buy it, and as the pair walks away, one reporter remarks, “That guy’s definitely fucking Satan. What a stud.”
As per Deadline, the series’ feud with Trump continues, as prior episodes have seen the creators of the series take jabs at the president. The first episode of the series showcased the relationship between Trump and Satan and also showed an AI version of him, which led to backlash from President Trump. Since the first episode, the series has not slowed down with its jokes on Trump or anyone else, for that matter. South Park will be skipping a week between episodes and will be back with a new episode for the 27th season on September 17 on Comedy Central and Paramount+.
