According to Screenrant, the renowned anime adaptation of the manhwa, Solo Leveling, has received a second season, and a trailer has been released. The anime follows the journey of Sung Jinwoo, voiced by Aleks Le (Demon Slayer), the weakest hunter. An unknown system chose him to become a player after his voluntary death in one of the dungeons, and he finds himself facing random dungeons and creatures while improving his strength. The season ended with Sung Jinwoo entering a dungeon, facing several knights and sorcerers and leveling himself from assassin to necromancer, becoming the shadow monarch.

According to Screenrant, the trailer has been released on the official Solo Leveling X page. It gives a glimpse into the formidable enemies, such as the ice elves, that Sung will have to combat. This was shown in a battle between Sung’s shadow army and the enemy’s ice wolves. It was produced by A-1 Pictures (Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry), and the soundtrack was composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburg). The scene will start with source material from the Red Gate Arc and give more depth to Sung’s emotional goal of becoming the world’s strongest hunter and finding the cure to his mother’s disease.
The first season consisted of 12 episodes, and the upcoming season might follow the same format. The release date and plot of the series’s second season remain a mystery, but it is speculated to arrive around late 2025. The short clip is packed with stunning action that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats and wanting more.
