The British network has inked a deal for The X Factor and British Got Talent.
The relationship between ITV and Simon Cowell will last three more years. The network has signed a deal with the talent competition judge and Sony’s Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia UK to air reality competition series The X Factor UK and Britain’s Got Talent until the end of 2016.
It is understood the deal reflects that Cowell will appear as a judge on at least one of the ITV shows, with the option of starring in both. “I am thrilled that we have extended our deal with ITV for Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor,” said Cowell. “They have been fantastic partners and we have some exciting new plans to take the shows to the next level.”
