DMG, the Chinese company behind Iron Man 3 and Looper, is shooting a new drama.
According to Deadline, DMG Entertainment teams up with Washington FilmWorks for a Chinese-language TV drama in Seattle. The untitled series will start production in early 2014 and it follows the lives of a group of Chinese nationals and their ways of dealing with their American lives.
The show has been announced by CCTV and Dan Mintz, the chief of DMG said, “The Seattle area boasts a highly diverse cultural make-up and that includes a lot of Chinese and Asian communities, which makes it a perfect place to set the show.”
