The Hollywood Reporter has learned that producer Shonda Rhimes will remain with ABC for at least another three years.
Rhimes has signed a new deal with ABC, and will remain with the studio until at least May of 2018. Rhimes and her partner Betsy Beers have produced ABC’s two most valuable series, Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal. Scandal has become a mammoth success in its third season, regularly getting 3.0 ratings in the adult 18-49 demographic. Rhimes is also the producer of upcoming show How to Get Away with Murder.
