According to Comicbook, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction) has recently teased the future of his character Abomination, with Marvel. The recent premiere of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law followed the other properties of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the return of different characters from the franchise such as Abomination played by Roth in the 2008 film, The Incredible Hulk. Although Roth states there is no word on what the future holds for him with Marvel, he said in a recent interview that he would love to be part of the Deadpool franchise alongside Ryan Reynolds (Free Guy).
Roth said to ScreenRant, “I have no idea if they have anything planned. I’d be very happy to drop right into Deadpool. I would love that. I enjoyed She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, I was very surprised when they came along, and I definitely enjoyed it, so wherever they take me, it’s fine, as long as you get to play.”
According to Comicbook, Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty), Showrunner for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, planned for the character of Abomination to be part of the series since the very first pitch to Marvel.
“So Abomination, Emil Blonsky was in my original pitch, and at that point, the last time we saw him was in 2008, The Incredible Hulk,” Gao told ComicBook.com during an exclusive interview. “I had no idea what their relationship to this character was anymore. I don’t know if they had any plans but it was a story I wanted to tell so I just put it in there. What’s the worst that could happen? I don’t get the job. Look, I have not gotten the job so many times at Marvel like it was old hat to me. I had no more fear. I was like Daredevil. I was the woman with no fear now.”
Fans can see Roth playing his role as Emil Blonsky, also known as the Abomination, on the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law currently streaming on Disney+.
