Sebastian Croft, Star From Netflix’s ‘Heartstopper’ Has Signed With Agency Anonymous Content

Sebastian Croft (Horrible Histories: The Movie Rotten Romans, Dampyr), Hearstopper alum, will now be represented by the agency Anonymous Content, Deadline exclusively reported. The actor has signed a contract to be represented in all areas by the agency. Croft is still represented by attorney Lucy Popkin at Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher and with UK-based CVGG talent agent Greg Herst (The Courier).

The actor’s breakout role, according to Deadline, is definitely the character of Ben Hope in Netflix‘s Heartstopper. Story written by Alice Oseman (Heartstopper Volume One, I Was Born for This, Loveless), this coming-of-age series shows Croft’s character in secret relationship with the character of Charlie at the beginning of the show, who is played by Joe Locke (Agatha: Darkhold Diaries). As the series goes on, the latter realizes that he is a coward and is only using Charlie, so he breaks up with him, still being antagonistic towards his new relationship with Nick, played by Kit Connor (Rocketman, Ready Player One, His Dark Materials).

Croft is wil be starring in the upcoming Prime Video’s movie, the romantic comedy named How to Date Billy Walsh, according to Deadline. He will portray the character of Archie alongside Cobra Kai alum Tanner Buchanan (He’s All That, Designated Survivor, Game Shakers) when the movie airs in April.

Furthermore, Croft was seen wrapping filming for Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, The World’s End, Truth Seekers)’s movie Svalta, a thriller comedy in which he plays a lead character alongside Aisling Bea (This Way Up, Living With Yourself, Smothered) and Frost himself, according to Deadline. He also wrapped filming on BBC drama Dope Girls alongside Julianne Nicholson (Dream Scenario, Mare of Easttown, August: Osage County) and Eliza Scanlen (Babyteeth, Little Women, The Starling Girl).

According to Deadline, other past movies of Croft include Love, Death & Robots and Wonderwell. He has also been a theater performer recently, as he starred in a production of the famous play 4000 miles created by Amy Herzog (Scenes from a Marriage, Daughter of the Bride, Theater Talk), but produced by Richard Eyre (The Hollow Crown, Tumbledown, The Ploughman’s Lunch), opposite famous actress Dame Eileen Atkins (Gosford Park, Cold Mountain, What a Girl Wants).

Hearstopper‘s first two seasons, starring Locke, Connor and Croft, is now streaming on Netflix.
