According to Deadline, Sydney Sweeney recently hinted that season three of the hit show Euphoria may begin filming shortly. This excited many fans who have been anxiously anticipating the upcoming season. Sweeney released the news when speaking to Josh Horowitz of MTV.
Deadline said that Horowitz asked Sweeney if she would be taking a break from working after the premiere of her newest movie, Immaculate, which is a horror movie. Sweeney replied with “I go into Euphoria.”
Deadline reported that Sweeney didn’t give much other information, but she did add that “I always feel like I go home. It’s like home when I go back to it.”
HBO gave a summary of the series, claiming that “Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media.”
HBO also cited the fact that Euphoria is an American adaptation of an Israeli show that goes by the same name and follows the same plot.
All episodes of the show have been written by the showrunner Sam Levinson (The Idol). The series is executive produced by Drake, Future the Prince, Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokadi and Gary Lennon. Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin. Toovi and Levin also created the original Israeli series. The main cast includes actor and singer Zendaya (Spider Man), Maude Apatow (Girls), Angus Cloud (Your Lucky Day), Eric Dane (The Last Ship), Alexa Demie (Waves), Jacob Elordi (Saltburn), Barbie Ferreira (Nope), Nika King (65) Storm Reid (Missing), Hunter Schafer (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes), Algee Smith (The Hate U Give), and Sydney Sweeney (Sharp Objects), said HBO.
The series currently has two seasons and a total of sixteen episodes, said HBO. The series has won nine Emmy’s as well.
