Season Four Of ‘Bridgerton’ Premiere Date and Sneak Peek Revealed; Seasons Five and Six Set For Renewal

According to Deadline, Netflix’s Bridgerton has received another two-season renewal, pushing the series towards seasons five and six. While no specific details have been listed, the pickup was officially announced during Netflix’s upfront presentation.

Deadline states how fictional character Lady Whistledown shared the renewal news in a special version of her society papers, which can be seen in the link below:

According to Deadline, it is assumed that the new seasons will revolve around Francesca’s (Hannah Dodd) love story and main character Eloise (Claudia Jesse).

Deadline also mentions that Netflix also announced Bridgerton‘s fourth season, which is set to debut in 2026. The premiere date continues the pattern of releasing a new season every other year. Netflix went ahead and excluded Bridgerton’s new season in it’s list of 2025 releases, further confirming it’s debut for next year.

According to Deadline, Netflix has shared clip teasing season four after showrunner Jess Brownell (Scandal, Inventing Anna) previously spoke on it. The clip can be seen below:

Netflix describes season four, as follows, “In the eight-episode new season, unwilling to settle down like his brothers, Benedict’s perspective changes when he encounters a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”

According to Deadline, Brownell will be executive producing with, Betsy Beers (Grey’s Anatomy, Cassanova) , Shonda Rhimes (Private Practice, Crossroads), Chris Van Dusen (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal), and Tom Verica (Zodiac, Die Hard 2).

Netflix shares that Bridgerton’s cast includes names like Luke Thompson (Dunkirk, Kiss Me First) as Benedict Bridgerton, Yerin Ha (Dune: Prophecy, Halo) as Sophie Baek, Jonathan Bailey (Wicked, Fellow Travelers) as Anthony Bridgerton, Victor Alli (Bellfast) as Lord John Stirling, Adjoa Andoh (Fractured, Invictus) as Lady Danbury, Julie Andrews (The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins) as Lady Whistledown, Lorraine Ashbourne (King Kong, Breathe) as Mrs. Varley, Simone Ashley (Sex Education, Broadchurch) as Kate Sharma, Masali Baduza (The Woman King, Trackers) as Michaela Stirling, and Nicola Coughlan (Derry Girls, Harlots) as Penelope Bridgerton.
