Deadline has reported that CBS’s family cop drama Blue Bloods will end with the upcoming 14th season. Season 14 will air in two parts with a total of 18 episodes. Ten episodes will begin airing and be available to stream on Paramount+ on February 16. The last eight episodes of the season will air in the fall of 2024.
CBS is also giving an extended final season to Young Sheldon. The network recently announced that the series will end with the seventh season, which will consist of 14 episodes.
“Blue Bloods will forever be a beloved part of CBS’s legacy. It ruled Friday nights with unprecedented dominance since its premiere and established itself as a pillar of our winning lineup with an exceptionally devoted fan base,” said President of CBS Entertainment Amy Reisenbach and President of CBS Studios, David Stapf in a joint statement, according to Deadline.
Blue Bloods first debuted on CBS on September 24, 2010 and stars Tom Selleck (Three Men and a Baby, Friends) as Frank Reagan, Will Estes (American Dreams, The New Lassie) as Jamie Reagan, Donnie Wahlberg (The Sixth Sense, Saw II) as Danny Reagan, Andrew Terraciano (Rogue Assistant, Blue Bloods) as Sean Reagan, Bridget Moynahan (Coyote Ugly, John Wick) as Erin Regan-Boyle, Abigail Hawk (A Christmas in Vermont, Almost Paris) as Detective Abigail Baker, and Vanessa Ray (Pretty Little Liars, Suits) as Eddie Janko.
