

Marvel studios has released a quick, but enticing roll call teaser for the approaching second season of its hit animated series, X-Men ’97. The last time on the series saw the titular group being split into two groups, with one consisting of Cyclops, voiced by Ray Chase (Genshin Impact, Jojo Bizarre Adventures) and Jean Grey, voiced by Jennifer Hale (Totally Spies, Unicorn Academy) being transported and stuck in the distant future.
While on the other hand, the other group which includes Professor X, voiced by Ross Marquand (Invincible, Avengers: Endgame); Magneto, voiced by Matthew Waterson (Hogwarts Legacy, Devil May Cry); Rogue, voiced by Lenore Zann (Marvel Rivals, Dragon Tales); Nightcrawler, voiced by Adrian Hough (The Dragon Prince,); and Beast, voiced by George Buza (Beyblade, Wishfart) are in the past in ancient Egypt, which both groups encounter a variant of Apocalypse.
According to mxdwn, the roll call teaser gives a quick glimpse into the impending, but dangerous battle that the group will be facing in the approaching season.The audience can look forward to the return of several other mutants including Wolverine, voiced by Cal Dodd (Scott Pilgrims Takes Off, Goosebumps); Storm, voiced by Alison Sealy Smith (King, Birdz); Morph, voiced by John Paul Karliak (The Might Nein, Ranma 1/2) amongst other preparing to fight.
The franchise’s latest character roll call has garnered widespread acclaim from both lifelong enthusiasts and newcomers alike. They were especially happy on Marvel’s decision on the expanded roster giving screentime for not only main protagonists, but side characters as well and that it will add more to the season’s thrilling narrative.
X-Men ’97’s second season having nine episode and posies that stakes have never been higher as all of man and mutant kind is in grave danger. While waiting on the second season, which is scheduled to make it debut on July 1st, the previous season of X-Men ’97 is available to stream on Disney+.
