Actress Sanaa Lathan, known for her role in Alien vs Predator and most recently for her role in season three of Succession, reflects on her character returning to season four, via The Hollywood Reporter.
Lathan plays lawyer Lisa Arthur to the second-oldest son Kendall Roy, played by Jeremy Strong (The Judge, The Trial of Chicago 7). When asked about her character returning to season four, Lathan tells The Hollywood Reporter, “I have not, no, I have not.”
When she heard that Succession co-star Nicolas Braun (Sky High, Perks of Being a Wallflower), who plays Roy’s estranged cousin Greg Hirsch, described season four as “banger” Lathan replied with “I mean, how can it bang more than my season? I’m kidding. Lisa Arthur was a legend. Who knows, maybe she’ll come back in the future,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition to Succession, Lathan’s most recent project includes Young. Wild. Free., a feature film that follows a teenager struggling to provide for his younger siblings in Compton as he finds his life turned upside down when he’s held at gunpoint by the girl of his dreams.
Alongside Lathan, Strong, and Braun, the Succession cast includes Brian Cox (Troy, The Independent), Kieran Culkin (Igby Goes Down, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Peter Friedman (Single White Female, Love & Other Drugs), Matthew Macfadyen (Pride & Prejudice, The Three Musketeers), Alan Ruck (Speed, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off), Sarah Snook (Predestination, Steve Jobs), and J. Smith-Cameron (Margaret, Man on a Ledge).
Seasons one through three of Succession are available to stream on HBO Max. Season four will be available to stream in Spring of 2023.
