

According to Deadline, Sam Corlett (Pretty Face, Acting for a Cause) is set to star and lead opposite Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Organized Crime, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) in Hulu’s upcoming untitled Dan Fogelman football drama. The series, which is created and written Fogelman, is set inside the world of the NFL.
As per Deadline, Meloni, in the series, plays the team’s head coach. Corlett is believed to be playing the younger brother of the head coach. Corlett will join the previously announced cast, which includes William H. Macy (Train Dreams, Supreme: The Battle for Roe) as the team owner and Mandy Moore (A Walk to Remember, Chasing Liberty) as his daughter.
According to Deadline, the dramatic series is set in the World of the NFL and will explore the complexities as they deal with their involvement with the NFL. The series from 20th Television and Skydance Sports is executive produced by Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal (This Is US, Only Murders in the Building) and Kevin Falls (The West Wing, Made in Jersey). Also executive producing are David Ellison (The Tomorrow War, Star Trek Into Darkness), Jesse Sisgold (Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys) and Jason T. Reed (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) for Skydance Sports.
As per Deadline, Colbert is an Australian actor who played Leif Erikson, in Vikings: Valhalla, which ran on Netflix for three seasons from 2022-2024. The actor is also part of the main cast of Netflix’s Australian series Territory and recurred on the streamer’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Corlett’s other credits include Australian indies The Dry opposite Eric Bana (Force of Nature: The Dry2, Memoir of a Snail) and He Ain’t Heavy. He is repped by Gersh, United Management and Entertainment 360.
The official title and premiere date for the series have yet to be announced.
