Sadie Sink Speaks on Season Five Of ‘Stranger Things’ And Fears Of The Future

Sadie Sink ( Fear Street: Part Two – 1978) talked about season five of Stranger Things and her fears of the future on the Today Show, according to Deadline. This morning Sink spoke with Hoda Kotb (Dateline NBC), and Jenna Bush (Give) on the show about her performance on The Whale, the upcoming season of Stanger Things, and what is to come for the finale of the series. Especially since Sinks’s character Max Mayfield was in a coma at the end of season four after almost being killed by the destructive Vecna.

According to Deadline, Sink stated, “We know that it’s happening and that it’s the last season, so it’s going to be emotional, I’m sure. Spoiler-free, just with the way my character ended in season Four, I have no idea what is going to happen. But I’ll be there.”

Sink also goes on to say, “It’s going to be awful. It’s going to be horrible. These kids, this entire cast and crew, it’s family. People say that all the time, but I genuinely mean it. And to think that we have to say goodbye to that security and knowing that we’re not going to be seeing each other for another season? It’s scary and sad, but I think it’s exciting to kind of move on to the next chapter, I guess.” Sink mentions this knowing that she and many of her cast members have been playing their roles in the series since their early teens.

The Netflix original series Stranger Things started its journey back in 2016. Sink has been in the series since season two and has joined the Hawkins crew on their many mysterious and epic adventures. Season five will be the final installment of the series as the story will come to an end unraveling many mysteries of season four.

Fans can expect more news of the series and the official release date of season five throughout the year.
