Variety has reported that iconic television actress Rose Marie has died. Rose Marie was most famous for her role as television comedy writer Sally Rogers in “The Dick Van Dyke Show”. Rose Marie passed away this Thursday at age 94.
Rose Marie spent her life immersed in show business. At 5 years old, she was already working on her own NBC radio show, and as she grew older she began working towards a career in comedy.
She had an extensive television career, regularly appeared on television all the way into the early 2000s. In addition to her role on The Dick Van Dyke Show, some of her television roles include shows such as Top Banana, The Bob Cummings Show, My Three Sons, and The Doris Day Show. She also appeared in more than 600 episodes of the game show The Hollywood Squares.
In recent years, she took to Twitter to interact with fans and tell behind-the-scenes tales from her time in show business. Her account announced her death on Thursday evening with a photo of Rose Marie and text that read, “Heaven Just Got a Whole Lot Funnier”.

Rose Marie is survived by her daughter Georgiana Marie Guy.
