Law and Order: Organized Crime has added actors Rick Gonzales (Mr. Robot) and Brent Antonello (Pam and Tommy) to the third season of the NBC crime drama. Gonzales and Antonello will play two NYPD detectives working in the Organized Crime unit, per Deadline.
Gonzales’s recent credits include a recurring role on Peacock’s The Last Symbol, a voice role on TBS’s American Dad, a leading role on CW’s Arrow as Rene Ramirez/Wild Dog, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Rosewood, Rush, and Battle Creek. Antonello recent turns include a role as Wayne, boyfriend of Lily James’s character on the Emmy-nominated limited series Pam and Tommy, a series regular role on VH1/BET’s Hit the Floor, and recurring or guest roles on S.W.A.T., Castle, and Apex.
Law and Order: Organized Crime stars Emmy-nominated Christopher Meloni (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Detective Elliot Stabler, a detective returning to New York City’s Organized Crime unit after suffering a devastating loss. The series also follows Sargeant Ayanna Bell played by Danielle Moné Truitt (Rebel), Detective Jet Slootmaekers played by Ainsley Seiger (American Waste), and Detective Carlos Maldonado played by Mike Cannon (The Blacklist). Rounding out the cast of characters are Detective Victoria Cho played by Rachel Lin (Bull), Eli Stabler played by Nicky Torchia (The Goldfinch), Nova Riley played by Nona Parker Johnson (Them), Angela Wheatley played by Tamara Taylor (The L Word: Generation Q), Richard Wheatley played by two-time Emmy nominee Dylan McDermott (King Richard), and Denise played by Karen Dukes (Madam Secretary).
Law and Order: Organized Crime is created by Emmy winners Ilene Chaiken (Stumptown) and Dick Wolf (Chicago Fire). The third season of Law and Order: Organized Crime will premiere on September 22nd at 10pm EST on NBC.
