Ray Romano was featured in a 14 episode arch in Parenthood season 4. Now, he’s coming back for more.
Deadling was the first to report Romano’s return as the photographer Hank. He will reprise his role of Hank, who was Sarah’s (Lauren Graham) love interest during those 14 episodes. At the end of the season, Hank left town to be closer to his daughter. Romano will reportedly star in up to 14 episodes of the upcoming season.
“I hear Romano’s decision to return stems from the great relationship he’d developed with Parenthood developer/executive producer Jason Katims working on the show, something he had enjoyed since joining the cast at the beginning of last season,” Deadline reports.
EW claims, “Critics are hoping that Emmy voters show some much-deserved love to Parenthood this September, especially given Monica Potter’s performance last season as a breast cancer survivor.”
There promise to be many new points of drama in the new season of Parenthood.
Parenthood will be returning to NBC Thursdays this fall at 10/9c.
