Vox Machina fans, prepare yourselves for the return of your beloved Dungeons and Dragons inspired show The Legend of Vox Machina. This season will place the team against another formidable foe.
For those who don’t know, the series tells a story about a band of mercenaries turned heroes with the world of DND. The series is an adaptation from the campaign that was played by Critical Role. In the last season of the show, Vox Machina was faced against the Chroma Conclave, the group consisted of four dragons that intended to turn all of Tal Dorei into a nest for their dragon spawn to feast and flourish. However, those plans did not come into fruition for Vox Machina had successfully defeated the Chroma Conclave saving all of Tal Dorei from the dragon threat. After this was done the team had decided to part ways putting an end to Vox Machina, at least for now. Near the end of the season we saw a cult of worshipers giving praise to an entity that may be familiar to thoose who have seen the campaign and is unknown to those who will be in for a surprise. According to Amazon MGM Studios, for the fourth season despite the team splitting up to find purpose in their lives the call to adventure has brought them back together for a slumbering evil has awoken and the Vox Machina must band together to save the realm from this threat.
The cast consists of Laura Bailey (The Mighty Nein, Dispatch), Tailesin Jaffe (Critical Role, 2XKO), Ashley Johnson (Critical Role, The Mighty Nein), Matthew Mercer (Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, Dispatch), Liam O’Brien (The Mighty Nein, Date Everything!), Marisha Ray (Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, Dispatch), Sam Riegel (The Outer Worlds 2, Dispatch), Travis Willingham (Marvel Rivals, Firebuds), Indira Varma (The Capture, The Night Manager), Kelly Hu (Untamed, Phineas and Ferb), Esmé Creed-Miles (The Sandman, The Thicket), Sunil Malhorta (The Boyfriend, Blaze and the Monster Machines), and Cree Summer (Strip Law, Abbott Elementary).
