According to Comicbook, Prime Video has revealed new official trailer for their upcoming raunchy series Sausage Party: Foodtopia. The series based on the 2016 film Sausage Party from the minds of Seth Rogen (Superbad, Pineapple Express), Evan Goldberg (This is the End, Invincible) and Jonah Hill (21 Jump Street, The Wolf of Wall Street) will be hitting the streaming platform on July 11th. The series is currently scheduled to air eight episodes on the streamer. The new trailer shows the animated characters in new adventures while still being chaotic and over the top with adult humor.

As per Comicbook, The new series is being co-written by Rogen and Goldberg. Ariel Shaffir (Future Man) and Kyle Hunter (50/50) serve as executive producers and showrunners, alongside executive producers Rogen, Goldberg, James Weaver (Neighbors) and Alex McAtee (Longshot) via Point Grey Pictures, with Madeline Blair (Cobweb) overseeing Point Grey Pictures. Conrad Vernon (Shrek), the director of the film, returned to direct the series
The series cast has many of the original voices reprising their roles; this includes Rogen as Frank, Kristen Wiig (Big Mouth, Zoolander 2) as Brenda, Michael Cera (Arrested Development, Scott Pilgrim Take Off) as Barry, David Krumholz (Oppenheimer, The Deuce) as Lavash and Edward Norton (Fight Club, American History X) as Sammy. Joining the cast this time around is Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth, MacGruber), Sam Richardson (Velma, Veep), Natasha Rothwell (Wonka, Insecure), and Yassir Lester (Duncanville, Making History). It is currently unknown if Hill will reprise his role as Carl in the series.
