According to Deadline, the spin-off of Prime Video’s The Boys, Gen V has just added seven new cast members to their second season: Keeya King (Yellowjackets, Van Helsing), Stephen Thomas Kalyn (Warrior Strong, The Perfect Weeding), Julia Knope (In The Dark, In the Shadow of the Moon), Stacey McGunnigle (This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Doomlands), Tait Fletcher (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad), Wyatt Dorion (Eerie Hall, The Mouse Trap) and Georgie Murphy (Accused, Safehaven) for recurring roles on the second installment. Gen V is a spinoff of the popular Prime Video series The Boys and expands the universe of super-powered individuals who are recognized by the general public and work for a powerful corporation known as Vought International. Unlike The Boys, the series is set at Godolkin University, a prestigious superhero-only college where students go to learn and train to be the next generation of heroes. Throughout the first season, the students face many situations that come with being a super-powered individual.
The cast of the first season of the series includes Jaz Sinclair (Easy) as Marie, Lizze Broadway (Based on a True Story) as Emma, Maddie Phillips (Summerland) as Cate, London Thor (Never Have I Ever) as Jordan, Derek (Runaways) Luh as Jordan, Asa Germann (Monsters) as Sam and the late Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as Andre. The series also had characters from The Boys appearing during the first season. These cameos included Jessie T. Usher (Tales of the Walking Dead) as A-Train, Chace Crawford (The Covenant) as The Deep, Jensen Ackles (My Bloody Valentine) as Soldier Boy and many others.
Gen V is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures and Original Film.
The second season of Gen V will premiere on Prime Video in 2025.
