Prime Video Reveals Teaser For ‘The Boys’ Season Four

Ever since Prime Video announced that The Boys was renewed for fourth season, fans have patiently waited for any news that they can get. In anticipation of the fourth season premiering in 2024, a teaser has been revealed. As noted by the official press release for the series, the teaser was shown at the Comic-Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil, which is also known as CCXP.

The X/Twitter account for the series, TheBoysTV, made a post with the teaser, stating “Season 4 is a riot. Strap in lads, coming your way 2024 on @PrimeVideo.” The post and the teaser can be viewed below.

Developed by Eric Kripke (Supernatural, Gen V), The Boys is based on the comic book series of the same name created by Garth Ennis (Hitman, Preacher) and Darick Robertson (Wolverine, New Warriors).

The synopsis for the fourth season states, “In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

Filming for The Boys wrapped in April of this year, and numerous cast members were added to the new season. In August, it was revealed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead, Supernatural) will be joining the cast. Later in October, Susan Heyward (The Light of the Moon, Radium Girls), and Valorie Curry (The Lost Symbol, The Following) were announced to be joining the cast of season four as the characters Sister Safe and Firecracker, respectively.

Those returning for season four are Claudia Doumit (Timeless, The Miracle of Christmas) as Victoria Neuman, Antony Starr (Banshee, Cobweb) as Homelander, Karl Urban (Dredd, Thor: Ragnarok) as Billy Butcher, and more.

The teaser was revealed a few months after Gen V, a spin-off of The Boys, finished with its first season.
