According to Deadline, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan released the trailer for its fourth and final season. The six-episode season will premiere late this June.
Based on the character and novels created by the writer Tom Clancy, the series follows the titular Jack Ryan, a former marine and CIA analyst pulled from his desk job into CIA missions in Venezuela, Syria, and the Czech Republic. Jack Ryan, played by John Krasinski (The Office, A Quiet Place), regularly works with James Greer, played by Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Suits), and Mike November, played by Michael Kelly (House Of Cards Black Mirror). Jack also begins a relationship with Cathy Mueller, played by Abbie Cornish (Robocop, Geostorm).
As communicated by the trailer, Jack’s mission in this fourth season is to root out internal corruption after an unknown assassinates a high-profile official. Through his investigations, Jack discovers a series of suspicious operations that pose a threat to the United States. Jack also uncovers a drug cartel working with a terrorist organization, and he has to ask whether the system he has worked for so long is really what it seems.
Paramount Television, Skydance Television, and Amazon Studios co-produce the series. Allyson Seeger (A Quiet Place, The Hollars), John Kelly (Small Town Crime, Kiss Me), Michael Bay (Transformers, Ambulance), Andrew Form (The Purge, Friday the 13th), Brad Fuller (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Project Almanac), and John Krasinski. David Ellison ( Terminator: Dark Fate, Terminator Genisys), Dana Goldberg (I Am Legend, Annihilation), Carlton Case (Lost, Bates Motel), Mace Neufeld (Patriot Rotation, The Hunt For Red October), Vaun Wilmott (Dominion, Star Trek: Discovery) and Matt Thunell (Apocalypto, Hellboy) executive produce the fourth season.
