Prime Video Releases Key Visuals and Trailer for ‘Kevin’

Cast and guest cast has been announced for Kevin as well as art and the trailer. All eight of the episodes of season one are available immediately on April 20, only on Prime Video.

The cast includes Addison Rae (Addison Rae Goes Home, Thanksgiving), Cary Elwes (A Castle for Christmas, Ella Enchanted), Charles Melton (Heart of Champions, Her Private Hell), Debby Ryan (The Suite Life on Deck, Video Rebel), Joe Locke (Agatha All Along, Heartstopper), Nicole Byer (Wipeout, Loosely Exactly Nicole), Patti LuPone (Life Goes On, Beau Is Afraid), Quinta Brunson (The Cat in the Hat, Big Mouth), Stephanie Allynne (People Places Things, Dave Made a Maze), Tig Notaro (Come See Me in the Good Light, Army of the Dead) and many more.

On April 1, the art, visuals, and trailer were released for the animated adult comedy series. The show takes place when Kevin, a house cat, decides he can live without his humans and “moves out” to a pet rescue in Astoria, Queens. He ends up teaming up with a band of misfits who help Kevin figure out what he wants in life.

Kevin is played by Jason Schwartzman (Isle of Dogs, The French Dispatch). Kevin’s owner, Dana, is played by Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus, Emily the Criminal). Cupcake is played by Whoopi Goldberg (The Lion King, Sister Act) with John Waters (Hairspray, Liar Mouth) voicing Armando. Judy is a new cat roommate played by Aparna Nancherla (The Great North, Bob’s Burgers), and the pet store owner, Seth, is played by Gil Ozeri (Big Mouth, Monsters). Brandi, Seth’s dog, is played by Amy Sedaris (BoJack Horseman, At Home with Amy Sedaris).

Kevin is created and produced by Plaza and Joe Wengert (Human Resources, GameFace), who is also the showrunner. Dan Murphy (Amnesia, Kill or Be Killed), Chris Prynoski (Downtown, Turbofast), Ben Kalina (Kiff, The Midnight Gospel), Shannon Prynoski (Father of the Year, Girl Rising) and Antonio Canobbio (The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) produce the show. The series is made by Titmouse, Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.

Talia Marciano: A young person who is still trying to find themselves. They found writing at such a young age, being asked to write a paragraph but ending up writing two pages. They started writing after being inspired by James Patterson, ‘The Angel Experiment’ and decided from then on, they wanted to inspire others about writing too. They love playing games like Animal Crossing or Sims, their pet Guinea pigs as well as other animals, and reading.
