Apple TV’s Pluribus season one has come to an end and has left the audience wanting more. However, one the actors for the series shares her thoughts on the season finale.
The series tells a story about a hive mind called the Joined that has nearly taken over all of humanity. The only exception being a woman named Carol Struka who appears to be immune to the Joined’s control. Carol must figure out a way to free everyone from the Joined, however this will not be an easy task. In the season finale Carol is with one of people under the Joined’s control named Zosia who reveals that the Joined has been trying to find an alternative way to conform her with the hive mind. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Joined’s scheme involves Carol’s frozen eggs and infecting them so that the Joined can modify the virus to infect her and anyone else that is immune.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress Karolina Wydra (A Score to Settle, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) who plays Zosia had this to say when it came to her character’s final glance at Carol in the season finale, “what [the parting glance] was for me is that maybe there’s somehow still a chance [to reconsider]. It’s not goodbye forever; it’s just, ‘Are you sure about whatever it is that you are doing? Are you sure about the atom bomb? Are you sure about whatever is the next chapter?'” Wydra believes that both Zosia and the Joined have an idea about what Carol is planning and that the Joined will not stand idly by while Carol tries to stop them.
The cast of the series consists of Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus, StanLand), Wydra, Carlos-Manuel Vesga (Donde Tú Quieras, The Luckiest Man in America), Miriam Shor (The Dinner Plan, Magic Hour), Samba Schutte (Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, The Legend of Vox Machina), Menik Gooneratne (The Role of a Lifetime, Fisk), Darinka Arones (Pluribus, Tusuy), Soledad Campos (The Residence, Maestro), Anna Mhairi (Countdown, Doctor Odyssey), Max Reeves (Animal Games, Love Me Dead), and Rayaan Kamal Khan (Robogobo, Skeleton Crew).
In other news the series has been renewed for a second season. While you wait for any updates regarding the series, you can watch the first season on Apple TV.
