Peacock’s ‘Apples Never Fall’ Trailer Released

According to TVLine, the full length trailer has officially been released for the Peacock series Apples Never Fall. The trailer was released on Wednesday at a panel during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour. The series is set to premiere on Thursday, March 14th.

TVLine stated that this is the next show that is a Liane Moriarty adaptation, with others including Big Little Lies on Hulu and Nine Perfect Strangers on HBO.

TVLine gave synopsis for the series, saying it “centers on the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family. Former tennis coaches Stan (Jurassic Park’s Sam Neill) and Joy (Nyad’s Bening) have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives. While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children — played by Jake Lacy (The White Lotus), Alison Brie (Community), Conor Merrigan-Turner (Thai Cave Rescue) and Essie Randles (Speedway) — everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing. But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to reexamine their parents’ so-called perfect marriage as their family’s darkest secrets begin to surface.”

TVLine cited additional cast members, such as Georgia Flood (Wentworth), Jeanine Serralles (Utopia) and Dylan Thuraisingham (Head High), and others. There will also be guest stars, such as Katrina Lenk (Ozark), Timm Sharp (Enlightened), Nate Mann (Ray Donovan), Paula Andrea Placido (The L Word: Generation Q), Pooja Shah (Missing) and Quentin Plair (Tiny Beautiful Things).

The series is being created by Melanie Marnich (A Murder at the End of the World), says TVLine. Executive producers include David Heyman (The Capture), Gregory Jacobs (The Knick), Joe Hortua (Home Before Dark), Albert Page (Rosewood) and Jillian Share (Spooksville).
