Netflix is rebooting of sci-fi legend Irwin Allen’s 1965 CBS cult TV classic, Lost in Space, from Legendary TV. News has broke that Parker Posey has joined the cast.
To premiere in 2018, the remake of Lost In Space, like the original, centers around the Robinson family, who are forced to come together in a time of crisis. They are stranded light years from their planned destination, and find themselves conflicted by a strange new alien environment and their own personal demons.
Posey is to play Dr. Smith. Repped by Gersh, and Authentic Talent and Literary Management, her recent credits include Christopher Guest and Netflix’s Mascot and writer-director Kogonada’s Columbus. This past summer she starred in in Woody Allen’s Café Society.
