Paramount+ has released the first teaser trailer for season three of Lioness. According to Deadline, the espionage thriller will return on August 2 as Joe McNamara and the Lioness team embark on their most personal mission yet.
Created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Wind River, Tulsa King), Lioness stars Zoe Saldaña (Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek) as CIA operative Joe McNamara. The upcoming season follows Joe as hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals begin to converge, forcing her to navigate growing threats that reach into both her personal and professional life.

The teaser also offers a glimpse at the increasingly dangerous conflicts awaiting the team as Joe receives guidance from Kaitlyn Meade, played by Kidman, and Byron Westfield, played by Kelly, while confronting adversaries operating from the shadows. According to the official synopsis, season three will explore a war that begins to impact every aspect of Joe’s life.
