Paramount+ Debuts Sylvester Stallone Crime Drama ‘Tulsa King’ In First Trailer

Sylvester Stallone is starring in a new series on Paramount+. The Rocky and The Expendables star leads Taylor Sheridan’s (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown) Tulsa King in a new teaser trailer for the series, according to Deadline. The show is set to arrive on the streaming platform this November. View the new trailer below.

According to Deadline, the series follows Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mafia gangster fresh out of the pen. After years of being loyal and keeping his mouth shut, his instructed by his boss to relocate to the desolate midwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma to start fresh. Being new in town, he’s tasked with building a criminal empire from scratch.

Deadline reports the series also stars Max Casella (The Confession, The Sopranos), Garrett Hedlund (Four Brothers, Mudbound), Domenick Lombardozzi (We Own This City, Breakout Kings), A.C. Peterson (City Boy, Dark Harvest), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire, Centigrade), Andrea Savage (I’m Sorry, Step Brothers), Martin Starr (Party Down, Silicon Valley), and Jay Will (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Champion).

The show boasts Sheridan and The Sopranos writer Terence Winter as executive producers, with Winter serving as writer and showrunner, via Deadline. Other executive producers include Ron Burkle (Out of the Furnace, 21 & Over), Allen Coulter (Remember Me, Hollywoodland), Braden Aftergood (Siberia, Nobody), David Hutkin (War with Grandpa, The Current War), Bob Yari (Mind Games, Papa Hemingway in Cuba), and David C. Glasser (Mayor of Kingstown, Hidden Obsession). MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios will produce.

Sheridan is the king over at Paramount+ as he has several projects in the works for the premium streamer. In addition to the cable sensation, Yellowstone, Sheridan is responsible for various Yellowstone spinoffs including the critically-acclaimed limited series, 1883. He is also behind the Jeremy Renner (Tag, Hawkeye) crime saga, Mayor of Kingstown, and the upcoming Zoe Saldana (Colombiana, Vampires vs. The Bronx) vehicle, Lioness, following a CIA agent’s infiltration of a terrorist syndicate.

Tulsa King will have a two-episode premiere on November 13 on Paramount+.
