After the cast of One Tree Hill reunited earlier in the year, fans are getting another chance to see some of the cast reunite again later this year. Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that some of the cast members of the show will be at the EyeCon fan convention in Chicago later this year.
The cast members who will be at the convention are Chad Michael Murray, who played Lucas Scott, James Lafferty, who played Nathan Scott, Jana Kramer, who played Alex Dupre and Antwon Tanner, who played Antwon “Skills” Taylor.
Kramer, who’s also a country singer, will perform at the panel as well.
The show, which has a huge teen and college age following, originally aired on The WB from 2003 through 2006 and then was renewed when the network became The CW, where it finished its nine-season run in 2012.
Not only was the shown known for its dramatic storylines but it’s also known for the music that was heavily featured in all the different episodes.
One Tree Hill focused on the initial sibling rivalry between half-brothers Lucas (Murray) and Nathan (Lafferty), who not only compete on the basketball court, but also compete for their father’s attention, as their father, Dan Scott (Paul Johansson), married Nathan’s mom and left Lucas and his mother in the dust. As the show developed, their relationship improved as Nathan married Lucas’ best friend, Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz), and they began playing as teammates on the Tree Hill High School basketball team.
Other cast members on the show include Sophia Bush, who played Brooke Davis, Hilarie Burton, who played Peyton Sawyer, Austin Nichols, who played Julian Baker, Shantel VanSanten, who played Quinn James and Robert Buckley, who played Clay Evans.
The show featured many fan favorite couples and love triangles, such as the Brooke-Lucas-Peyton love triangle early on in the show. Some of the fan favorite couples included Nathan and Haley, affectionately dubbed Naley by the fans, Lucas and Peyton, Brooke and Julian and Clay and Quinn, with both couples becoming fan favorites towards the end of the show’s run.
Many celebrities guest starred on the show, including Sheryl Crow, Gavin DeGraw, Fall Out Boy and Nick Lachey.
The convention will take place Nov. 11 through the 13th at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. For fans of the show who want to relive all the drama from the fictional Tree Hill, North Carolina, all nine seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
