One Tree Hill star Paul Johansson has been recruited to Beauty and the Beast’s season two cast, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Johansson, who played the morally corrupt Dan Scott on The CW’s drama One Tree Hill will play Tori’s father Kurt on the second season of Beauty and the Beast. His guest role will make its first appearance in the sixth episode of the season.
Kurt is described as “an arrogant and powerful Manhattan mongol whose career has a meteoric rise within the past few years. He has become increasingly paranoid as a result of his career ascent, surrounds himself with bodyguards and keeps a very close eye on his daughter.”
In addition to his role on One Tree Hill, Johansson’s credits include his guest roles on CSI and Criminal Minds. He has appeared in Atlas Shrugged: Part 1 and The Boondock Saints sequel.
Beauty and the Beast premieres its second season October 7 on The CW.
