Great news One Piece fans, production for the third season of the show has officially wrapped production. It won’t be long till we get to see the next part of Luffy’s journey into becoming the King of the Pirates.
For those who don’t know, One Piece is a series that tells a story about a young pirate named Monkey D. Luffy, a pirate who embarks on a journey through the Grand Line to search for the legendary treasure known as “The One Piece.” Throughout his journey he has recruited other pirates to join him on the search for the treasure and they also have dreams and goals they which to complete as well. On Instagram, Netflix posted a picture of the main cast standing in front of a staircase where they have been filming for the third season. For any One Piece fans out their you will notice a picture of a familiar character who will serve as the main antagonist of the third season. The third season will focus heavily on the kingdom of Alabasta, the home of Princess Vivi, who the Straw Hat pirates agreed to help bring home and put a stop to the sinister, Mr. 0.
The cast consists of Iñaki Godoy (Don’t Open the Door, MexZombies), Emily Rudd (Delicious in Dungeon, Hunters), Mackenyu (Chihayafuru: Full Circle, The 19th Medical Chart), Jacob Romero (Water Angel, Rap Sh!t), Taz Skylar (Monitor, Two Neighbors), Charithra Chandran (Christmas Karma, The Death and Life of River Song), Mikaela Hoover (Beef, Dead Giveaway), Joe Manganiello (Big City Greens, Nonnas), Xolo Maridueña (Sakamoto Days, Killing Castro), Cole Escola (Family Guy, The Simpsons), and Awdo Awdo (One Piece, Under Siege).
All we have to do now is wait for an official teaser for the third season. In the meantime, you can watch the first two seasons of the series on Netflix to try and catch up.
