“Once Upon a Time” has gone on five seasons strong and we’ve seen several fairy tale characters portrayed a little differently than the traditional fairy tale stories. Such as Peter Pan being a manipulative and evil person. We’ve also watched Captain Hook and the Evil Queen become not so evil. Hook falls in love with Snow White’s daughter and the former evil queen joins Snow White and Prince Charming’s heroic team. Plus, multiple fairy tale characters have been called to action on the show: Mulan, Belle, Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, Pinnochio, Elsa, Dorothy, and the Wicked Witch of the West to name a few.
Now it has been confirmed by TV Guide that ABC’s hit television series is bringing in Hercules and Meg into the “Once Upon A Time” fairytale mix. Jonathan Whitesell will portray Hercules and Kacey Rohl will play Meg.
According to TVLine, characters Hercules and Meg will appear in Episode 13 of Season 5 titled “Labor of Love.”
Outside of “Once Upon a Time”, People recently reported that the show’s lead actors: Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin (Prince Charming and Snow White) are now expecting their second child. Fans of “Once Upon a Time” were happy to watch Snow White and Prince Charming’s love unfold in real life. The two met on the show, clicked instantly, fell in love, and have been married since April 2014.
The first time that actress Ginnifer Goodwin a.k.a. Snow White was pregnant, the writers of the show decided to work her pregnancy into the storyline rather than hide it. It will be interesting to see what creative methods the writers will incorporate this time around with Goodwin’s second pregnancy.
