The ABC show has chosen actress Alexandra Metz to be princess Rapunzel, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Princess Rapunzel will be making her first appearance on the 14th episode of the current season, the second one after the show comes back from the winter hiatus, and as of right now she is only expected to appear on that single episode.
Alexandra Metz, who is joining a long list of fairytale princesses and characters, is known for her roles on Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, Gossip Girl, Chicago Fire and, more recently, The Originals.
Once Upon A Time airs on ABC on Sundays at 8 p.m.
