Official ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ Trailer Debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2022

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law released unreleased trailer footage at Comic-Con as the new Disney+ series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Comicbook

At San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, the Marvel Studios panel launched a new look at She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, starring Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as She-Hulk. The series is based on a nine-episode premise of She-Hulk, also known as Jennifer Walters. According to the Comicbook, she has to learn how to coincide her average life as an attorney with being a superpowered hulk.

The way that the writers want to portray Jennifer is not only as the hulk but more in a humanistic aspect. According to Comicbook’s recent interview with television writer Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) from Comic-Con, the writers of the series want the emphasis to be on how Jennifer is human but is also facing the issues of having superpowers she didn’t quite ask for. Gao says they want to show “this person that’s underneath all of that” via Comicbook

The series could attract an audience looking for a new viewing of a sitcom and maintain the loyal audience that Marvel has built from previous plot lines with other superheroes. In addition, the series has the potential to gain a broader range of viewers because the writers not only included the superhero aspect of being “the hulk” but made an effort to appeal to a span of viewers that enjoy watching an adaptation of real-life scenarios such as Jennifer’s life in law as an attorney.

Other appearances that can be anticipated to contribute to the series include Mark Ruffalo (13 Going On 30), Tim Roth (The Incredible Hulk), and Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange). According to Comicbook, they will be seen as Smart Hulk, the Abomination, and Wong. Their roles can also be seen in the double aspect of a Marvel series alongside a sitcom creation as the combination of actors come from a Marvel and sitcom background.

The series will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, August 17th, according to Comicbook.
