Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated series that aired on Nickelodeon in 2005. The series follows a fantasy adventure series centered on Aang, a 12-year-old boy who reawakens after being frozen for 100 years to discover he is the last of the Air Nomads and the next Avatar. The franchise contains two animated series, a live-action adaptation, a multitude of comic book spin-offs and much more.
During the panel, fans got to witness a live script reading by the cast from three different episodes of the series. The cast also brought out a fan cosplaying as Kiki to read the lines of the character during the reading. The episodes included “The Serpent’s Pass / Appa’s Lost Days;” “The Western Air Temple;” and “Sozin’s Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang.” Each script reading was shown with small-scale art representing what was happening in the scenes.
After the script readings, the cast revealed what is to come from the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise.
