Fox’s horror comedy Scream Queens has brought on Nick Jonas for a recurring role.
The Jonas Brother is joining a list of other young stars in the project, including Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Ariana Grande.
The 15 episode hourlong comedy will premiere in the fall of 2015. According to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, Scream Queens will be brought to Fox by the masterminds behind two of its other hit shows Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The two are responsible for Glee and American Horror Story.
During its premiere season, Scream Queens is set on a college campus shaken up by a series of murders. Like American Horror Story, Scream Queens will be an anthology series, with new settings and story lines in subsequent seasons.
Production will begin in the spring and although their roles are being kept under wraps, the cast is full of notable names. Jonas will join the aforementioned Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Ariana Grande, as well as Joe Manganiello, Keke Palmer, Emma Roberts and horror film icon Jamie Lee Curtis.
Along with Glee’s Murphy and Falchuk, Ian Brennan created Scream Queens and will exec produce alongside Dante Di Loreto.
