According to Deadline, casting announcements have been made for the third season of The Cleaning Lady. The announcement included names such as Brandon Jay McLauren (The Rookie) and JB Tadena (Kung Fu). The newest season is set to premiere on Tuesday, March 5th on Fox.
McLauren is set to play Jeremy Dolan, who Deadline says is a charismatic man with a calming presence, and he connects instantaneously with Thony played by Élodie Yung (Gods of Egypt, Daredevil).
Meanwhile, Tadena plays Paolo Belleza, who Deadline says is a and charming guy who oozes confidence and humor.
The characters are set to play important roles in the show as well as the main character, Thony’s life. Deadline also highlighted works for both McLauren and Tadena. McLauren is known for being in various productions such as Graceland, Firefly Lane, and The Killing.
Deadline says that The Cleaning Lady follows the story of Thony De La Rosa (Élodie Yung), w ho is a smart Cambodian doctor coming to America in an attempt to save her ill son, but when the system lets her down, Thony decides that she will not be marginalized. Having been forced to use unconventional measures, crosses her own moral lines in an attempt to protect those who she loves.
Deadline claims that Fox stated that the third season of The Cleaning Lady will be the most intense season yet with the highest stakes that have been seen on the show. Reasons for this include the mystery of Arman’s whereabouts, as well as the story of Thony trying to bring Fiona back to the U.S. after she had been deported.
