The final season of The Lincoln Lawyer is closing in. The official premiere date for The Lincoln Lawyer season five has been confirmed for March 2027, according to Screenrant.
Netflix announced in May of this year that the series would end on its fifth season after being renewed in January. The legal drama, starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (A Man Called Otto, The Magnificent Seven), is based on the popular Mickey Haller book series by Michael Connelly (Ironwood, The Black Echo), which has eight novels so far.
Michael Connelly did a Q&A with The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington. In the interview, Connelly confirmed that The Lincoln Lawyer season five will premiere sometime in March 2027. According to Screenrant, Connelly stated, “There’s a season that’s finished for The Lincoln Lawyer. It’ll come out in March.
The fifth season of the series will be inspired by Connelly’s Resurrection Walk published in 2023. The plot follows Mickey’s life as it takes an unexpected turn when Emi Finch, a newly discovered half-sister, approaches him and requests his help in overturning the wrongful conviction of a woman. As Mickey investigates the high-stakes case and uncovers long-hidden truths about his family, Lorna, Izzy, and Cisco each confront personal obstacles that put them to the test.
In addition to Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton (How I Met Your Mother, Mode After Hours), Jazz Raycole (My Wife and Kids, Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas) and Angus Sampson (Insidious: The Last Key, Deep Water) will return as series regulars. Cobie Smulders (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, How I Met Your Mother) will become a series regular after her character is revealed in the season four finale. Neve Campbell (Wild Things, Scream), Krista Warner (Beast Factor, Living In The Rectangle), Angelica Maria (Romeo Contra Julieta, Say a Little Prayer) and Gigi Zumbado (The Price We Pay, Bride Hard) will return as guest stars for season five.
