Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ Live-Action Has A New Set Photo With Rumbar Pirates Characters For Season Two

The One Piece live-action has new updates for fans. As the anime and manga are approaching the end of the Straw Hat Pirates’ adventures, the Netflix team is working hard for its upcoming second season, which is currently in the phases of filming and production. Fans got news from the famous series with an introductory glimpse of Tony Tony Chopper during the new edition of Netflix’s Geeked Week, and viewers seemed to have found new set photo that represents the characters of the Rumbar Pirates, Comicbook.com reports.

According to Comicbook.com, the news comes from an X (formerly Twitter) post, in which there is new ship that fans of the anime know well. This ship belongs to the Rumbar Pirates and is inspired by the one fans have seen in the One Piece manga. If anyone is interested in viewing the X post, it is embedded below.

According to Comicbook.com, new fans are eager to know who the Rumbar Pirates characters are. In the manga, the Rumbar Pirates are a crew that sailed the seas decades ago. The crew had York as their captain and, later on, they were able to explore the entirety of the Grand Line. The Rumbar Pirates used two different ships during their run, and after York left, a second captain named Brook was nominated. This character becomes really important for the One Piece storyline.

According to Comicbook.com, Crocus introduced the Rumbar Pirates during the Reverse Mountain arc. At that moment, he explains to Luffy about his long-time friend Laboon and his crew. The Rumbar Pirates swore to return to Laboon after some decades, where the crew meets the whale they befriended. As of now, it’s not confirmed if the Rumbar Pirates will appear in the second season of One Piece.

According to Comicbook.com, the creator of the manga, Eiichiro Oda (One Piece: Red, One Piece: Stampede), has already explained that the arc covered in the second season of the live-action will begin in Loguetown. The second season will conclude when the Straw Hat Pirates reach the Drum Island arc. There is no confirmation if Netflix will mention the Arabasta arc by the end of this upcoming season. The main characters that fans saw in the first season are confirmed to return in the second season. However, new characters will be introduced, including Miss All Sunday, also known as Nico Robin, portrayed by Lera Abova (Anna, Pitch Perfect: Bumper In Berlin), and Mr. O, also known as Crocodile, portrayed by Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike).

The second season of the One Piece live-action is set to release in 2025 on Netflix.
