Netflix’s Geeked Week: Teaser For Season Six Of ‘The Dragon Prince’ Revealed

Created by Aaron Ehasz (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Mullets) and Justin Richmond (Role & Keep, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception), the first season of the animated series The Dragon Prince debuted on Netflix in September 2018. According to Comicbook.com, as a part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, more information has been announced regarding the sixth season of The Dragon Prince. Not only did Netflix announce that the series will be released in 2024, but Netflix also revealed a teaser for the season.

In a post on X/Twitter, Netflix wrote, “In the dark, the stars show their faces.  All the magic of Xadia in THE DRAGON PRINCE Season 6 continues only on Netflix in 2024 #GeekedWeek.” The post with the teaser can be viewed below.

The Dragon Prince revolves around the lives of two princes named Callum, voiced by Jack De Sena (Avatar: The Last Airbender, LEGO Monkie Kid: Revenge of the Spider Queen), and Ezran, voiced by Sasha Rojen (Always Be My Maybe, Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance). They must take care of The Dragon Prince, who is also voiced by De Sana, with the help of Rayla, voiced by Paula Burrows (Freaky Friday, Beat Around the Bush). Rayla is a Moonshadow Elf, which refers to one type of elf in the fictional land of Xadia.

The voice cast also includes Racquel Belmonte (Monster Loving Maniacs, My Little Pony: Rainbow Roadtrip) as Claudia, Jesse Inocalla (Legends of Chima, Killbird) as Soren, Erik Dellums (Boycott, Homicide: Life on the Street) as Aaravos, Jason Simpson (Sausage Party, Volition) as Viren, and more.

As Comicbook.com notes, after the third season was released in 2020, the series was renewed for four more seasons. This means that season six of The Dragon Prince will be the second to last season.

Fans of The Dragon Prince can look forward to tuning in to season six in 2024.
