Emily in Paris is returning this December for season five with fashionable new looks, according to TVLine. 10 episodes of season five will stream on Thursday, December 18th, announced by Netflix with their newest location in Rome.

TVLine says that as the head of Agence Grateau’s Rome office, “Emily (Lilly Collins, known for Love, Rosie, Mirror Mirror) faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city,” per the official synopsis. “But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heatbreak and career setbacks. Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.”

Apart from Collins, TVLine says season five will include Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), Thalia Besson (Genevieve), Paul Forman (Nico), Arnaud Binard (Laurent G), Minnie Driver (Princess Jane), Bryan Greenberg (Jake), and Michèle Laroque (Yvette).

To refresh your memory, season four began with Emily taking a romantic trip to Rome with Marcello. However, Sylvie disrupted the personal getaway by crashing it, determined to turn the trip into a professional victory by securing Marcello’s family business as a client. Although Emily initially assured Marcello the trip was purely for him, his mother was ultimately won over by Emily’s business vision. This led to the mother insisting Emily manage the account, and Sylvie officially placing Emily in charge of business operations while in Rome via TVLine.

mxdwn reported that Bryan Greenberg (Suits LA, Prime) and Michele Laroque (Better Days, The Kids are Back) were added to the cast for season five as recurring characters. Greenberg is playing Jake, an American living in Paris, alongside Laroque playing Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).
