Attention fans of the series A Man On The Inside. The critically acclaimed series will come to an end with three seasons, according to Variety. Despite the praise that the series has gained over the years, we will have to bid it farewell after its upcoming season.
For those who don’t know, A Man On The Inside tells a story about a man named Charles, a retiree who gets a new lease on life after he answers an ad from a private investigator and becomes a mole in a secret investigation of an assisted living center. According to Variety, Michael Schur (Dang!, Hacks), the series’ showrunner, issued this statement regarding the journey that the series had taken from beginning to end: “This series began with a retiree taking a chance at a new life. By answering a help wanted ad and venturing out into the world, Charles Nieuwendyk made his world bigger and proved that life only slows down if you let it. We are thrilled to be able to conclude his journey with one final chapter, as embodied by the great Ted Danson, who I am legally required to refer to as a ‘National Treasure.’”
The cast consists of Ted Danson (Henry David Thoreau, American Dad!), Mary Elizabeth Ellis (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Surprise), Lilah Richcreek Estrada (Haunted: The Van Buren Manor, Moonburn), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Good Fortune), Stephanie Beatriz (Hazbin Hotel, President Curtis), Sally Struthers (Street Smart, All Is Merry & Bright), Kerry O’Malley (One More Bus, Chicago), John Getz (Brilliant Minds, The Pitt), Eugene Cordero (Golden Axe, Kevin), Mary Steenburgen (The Dink, Sunny Nights), Jill Talley (Ozzy Fox, The Patrick Star Show), Clyde Kusatsu (Site, Days of Our Lives), and Wyatt Yang (Pretty Babies, Weekend in Taipei).
