Netflix to Drop 24 from Streaming Queue

Variety is reporting that Netflix is dropping 24 from its streaming queue starting April 1st.

Netflix’s rights to the FOX thriller expire on April 1st, after which, it will be available exclusively through Amazon Prime Instant Video.This is part of Amazon’s attempt to build a library of streamable shows online to compete with Netflix in the market.

24 returns to air May 5 with the two hour special 24: Live Another Day on FOX. Netflix will continue to offer DVD rentals for all eight seasons of 24.
