According to Deadline, Netflix has recently revealed the first teaser trailer for their animated series Masters of the Universe: Revolution. The teaser was revealed recently as part of the streamer’s Geeked Week. The trailer showcases a glimpse of the latest battle between Skeletor and He-Man as what is to come from the series. The animated series will be a continuation of Kevin Smith’s (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) Masters Of The Universe: Revelation. The series is set to premiere on January 25th, 2024.

According to Deadline, the new series sees the villain Skeletor in a new mechanized form. Armed with the might of Motherboard, he attacks the heart of Eternia. While this is happening, Prince Adams is trying to come to terms with being He-Man and the responsibilities that come with it. Adam is eventually forced to choose between the scepter or the sword, and a life as either the King or the Champion. Teela, a new sorceress, searches for the secret of Snake Magic in the mists of Darksmoke to rebuild a magic realm that was recently lost. This is all to help He-Man fend off against a great evil known as Hordak, the ruthless leader of the Horde Empire.
The cast so far includes Chris Wood (The Vampire Diaries) as He-Man, Mark Hamill (The Fall of the House of Usher) as Skeletor, and Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) as Teela. The series will also include William Shatner (The Big Bang Theory), Diedrich Bader (Harley Quinn), Liam Cunningham (Clash of the Titans), Keith David (Rick and Morty), Lena Headey (300), Griffin Newman (Search Party), Tiffany Smith (Quantum Leap), and Tony Todd (Candyman), in roles that have yet to be announced.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution is set to premiere on Netflix on January 25th, 2024.
