

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix revealed an official trailer for the upcoming series House of Guinness from Steven Knight (The Immortal Man, A Thousand Blows), creator of Peaky Blinders. The new drama series set in 19th-century New York and Dublin sees the moneyed family heirs, Arthur, Edward, Anne and Ben, left doubly grief-stricken by the impact of their father’s will. House of Guinness will premiere on the streamer on September 25 and will air eight one-hour episodes.

As per TVLine, the official synopsis of the series reads as follows: “the series explores an epic story inspired by one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties — the Guinness family,” per the official logline. “Set in 19th Century Dublin and New York, the story begins immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, cast includes Dervla Kirwan (True Detective: Night Country, Silent Hour), Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones The Sandman), Niamh McCormack (Everything Now, Who We Love), Danielle Galligan (Shadow and Bone, Split Milk), Ann Skelly (The Nevers, Rose Plays Julie), Seamus O’Hara (Blue Lights, An Irish Goodbye), Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones, The Winter Lake), David Wilmot (Station Eleven, Lies We Tell), Michael Colgan (Say Nothing, Good Vibrations), Jessica Reynolds (Kneecap, The Wolf, the Fox and the Leopard ), Hilda Fay (The Woman in the Wall, Let the Wrong One In) and Elizabeth Dulau (Andor, The Outlaws).
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the series comes from creator and writer Knight, who also executive produces along with Karen Wilson (The Tunnel, Utopia), Elinor Day (Killing Eve, Thrilla in Manila), Martin Haines (Roman Mysteries, This Town), Tom Shankland (The Children, No Night is Too Long) and Ivana Lowell (Kleptomania, Goldeneye).
