According to Comicbook.com, Netflix has just revealed a new official trailer for the upcoming series The Vince Staples Show, along with a date for the premiere of the series. The series is scheduled to premiere on February 15th on the streamer and will be hit for many Staples fans and dry humor fans. Ian Edelman (Entergalactic) and Maurice Williams (Broke) worked with Vince Staples (Abbott Elementary) to fully achieve the type of humor with a specific tone that can be seen in the new trailer.

According to Comicbook.com, Netflix describes the series as follows: “The fictional series is loosely inspired by Staples’ life, taking place in Long Beach, California. Executive producers for The Vince Staples Show are Vince Staples, Kenya Barris (Black-ish) for Khalabo Ink Society, Edelman, Williams, Corey Smyth (Gully) and Calmatic (House Party). Edelman and Williams are co-showrunners of The Vince Staples Show, reuniting them with Barris, as the three also executive produced Kid Cudi’s (Need for Speed) animated Netflix project, Entergalactic. Additionally, Calmatic will direct the first two episodes of The Vince Staples Show.”.
The series cast includes Staples as himself, Tiberius Byrd (Will) as Deshaun, Ca’Ron Jaden Coleman (This Is Us) and Zylen Drew Arnaud (Reverence) as young Vince Staples, Gene Silvers (For All Mankind) as The Magician, Jason Sims-Prewitt (Grown-ish) as Officer Johnson, Cheyenne Wilbur (True Blood) as Elderly Man, Staci Lynn Fletcher (The Neighborhood) as Paulette, Jelani Estelle (Bust Down) as Kandi, and many others.
Scott MacArthur (The Mick), Arturo Castro (Broad City), Nate Jones (Atlanta), Bryan Greenberg (Friends with Benefits), and Myles Bullock (Runaways) will also be making an appearance in the series.
