Netflix Reveals New Teaser Trailer for ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’

According to Deadline, Netflix has released new teaser trailer for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off during Netflix’s Geeked WeekThe animated series will debut on the streamer on November 17.

In the teaser, viewers see the beginning of the love story between Ramona and Scott. The teaser can be watched below.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off was created and executive produced by Bryan Lee O’Malley (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life) and BenDavid Grabinski (Happily, Are You Afraid of the Dark?), who both serve as showrunners.

Along with O’Malley and Grabinski, Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Last Night in Soho), Michael Bacall (21 Jump Street, Free Willy), Marc Platt (Dear Evan Hansen, Legally Blonde 3), Eunyoung Choi (Adventure Time, Batman: Mask of the Phantom), Jared LeBoff (The Girl on the Train, Charlie St. Cloud), and Adam Siegel (Hotel Artemis, Thunder Force) executive produce.

The animated series will follow Scott Pilgrim meeting Ramona Flowers, the girl of his dreams, and defeating her seven evil exes so that he can date her. Throughout the series, Scott, his friends, Ramona, and her evil exes go on mysterious journeys.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off stars Michael Cera (Arrested Development, Superbad) as Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane, Sky High) as Ramona Flowers, Ellen Wong (The Carrie Diaries, Best Sellers) as Knives Chau, Kieran Culkin (Succession, Father of the Bride) as Wallace Wells, Alison Pill (Star Trek: Picard, The Newsroom) as Kim Pine, Johnny Simmons (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Jennifer’s Body) as Young Neil, and Mark Webber (The Ever After, Snow Day) as Stephen Sill.

The voice cast also includes Satya Bhabha (Dude, Midnight’s Children) as Matthew Patel, Brie Larson (Captain Marvel, Room) as Envy Adams, Chris Evans (The Avengers, Knives Out) as Lucas Lee, Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation, The White Lotus) as Julie Powers, Jason Schwartzman (Asteroid City, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) as Gideon Graves, Brandon Ruth (The Rookie, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) as Todd Ingram, Maw Whitman (Good Girls, Parenthood) as Roxie, and Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, Trolls) as Stacey Pilgrim.
