According to Deadline, Netflix has renewed The Lincoln Lawyer for a third season, which will consist of ten episodes. It will be based on the fifth book fifth book in Michael Connelly’s (The Black Echo, The Late Show) Lincoln Lawyer series, The Gods of Guilt.
Season two of The Lincoln Lawyers was in the top 10 on Netflix in 81 countries.
“The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” said co-showrunners and executive producers, Ted Humphrey (The Good Wife, The Code) and Dailyn Rodriguez (Ugly Betty, Queen of the South), co-showrunners and executive producers, reports Deadline.
The Lincoln Lawyer follows an iconoclastic idealist, Mickey Haller, who runs a law practice out of the backseat of his Lincoln. He takes on cases both big and small all over the city of Los Angeles. Season two was based on The Fifth Witness, the fourth book in the series by Connelly.
The series first debuted on Netflix on May 13, 2022. It stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (A Man Called Otto, The Magnificent Seven) as Mickey Haller, Becki Newton (How I Met Your Mother, The Goodwin Games) as Lorna Crane, Neve Campbell (Wild Things, The Craft) as Maggie McPherson, Christopher Gorham (The Other Side of Heaven, My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend) as Trevor Elliott, Angus Sampson (Insidious: The Last Key, The Mule) as Cisco, Jazz Raycole (My Wife and Kids, The Soul Man) as Izzy Letts, Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time, The Tax Collector) as Lisa Trammell, Michael Graziadei (Into the Blue 2: The Reef, The Lottery) as Jeff Golantz, Krista Warner (Suburban Supernova, Living In The Rectangle) as Hayley Haller, Jamie McShane (Bloodline, Wednesday) as Detective Lankford, and Ntare Mwine (The Chi, Dirt).
